Notary Public Education

This course is required for individuals interested in obtaining a North Carolina commission as a Notary Public. Learn what a person may and may not do as a Notary Public. Students must be 18 years of age, possess a high school diploma or equivalent, and speak and write English. For more information on becoming a North Carolina Notary, visit the Secretary of State's website.
